Well I feel like I've been a little more productive in the last week and a half.. :) so I took LOTS of pictures. The weekend of Veterans day I took that Friday off and went down to my parents house on Thursday the 10th of November.. and I spent all weekend down there painting all of my cupboard doors and drawer fronts. I took them all off and loaded them up in the car ..since we don't have a nice warm garage to work in :) While I was down there Todd also got some of the doors fixed up, painted, and hung. So we'll start with those pics :)
Here are our BEAUTIFUL doors!
This one is to a closet in the frog room

this one is between the kitchen and the frog room :)

Kitchen Cupboard Makeover!!!
Now for my fun project... I took all of the doors and drawer fronts off of the cupboards in the
kitchen so that I could take them down to my parents and "antique" them. My sister-in-law Jodi did it to her kitchen cabinets and I've always loved them so I decided they would look good in my kitchen...and I must say THEY DO:) So enjoy all of the pictures!
Of course I forgot to take a "Before" picture but I found this one and it shows the cabinets pretty well

Now here was our kitchen without drawers or drawer fronts

My mom has some other pictures from when I was working down there but I keep forgetting to get them...so here are some of the ones I took with my phone.
Here is Jodi and her beautiful get-up for working on the cupboards:)
My parents were awesome helpers as well! :)
So we had to prime the cupboards, paint them white, sand edges, apply stain (and wipe until the color I wanted) and then put a coat of polyurethane on it. It was definitely a process but they turned out neat :) here are a couple of drawer fronts and you can see the one on the left has been stained and the one on the right is the white that they were before the stain.
Finally finished...LOTS and LOTS of cupboards...I was excited when we were done..even though I still had everything that was still hooked to the walls in our kitchen.. :)
So I was doing a good job of taking pictures..and so here are the pictures of all of the cupboards with the primer coat. And then of course I forgot to take pictures of them all white..but at least I remembered pictures of the final product :)
So here are the pictures of it all primed.

Now just picture them all white...
Ok now that you've pictured that.. haha now you can see all of the cupboards "antiqued" and there are a couple of doors up.

And FINALLY ... The FINISHED product!!!!!
