Well it's only day two and I'm already exhausted :) guess that's what happens when you work all day and then work some more when you get home from work... but it will all be worth it in the end :) and it's very exciting so I'm enjoying it! Below are some pictures of the demolition we have done so far.. we are getting rid of the old lathe and plaster walls in the upstairs front room (the one with the 3 windows -pictures 14-16 on previous post) , the hallway upstairs, and the walls along the stairs (pictures 10-11) and the front two rooms (pictures 2-4) and putting in sheetrock ..luckily we are not putting the sheetrock in ourselves we hired that out..so once we can get to that point I'll have a minute or two to relax :)
Anyway enjoy the pictures! I will try to make this a little more organized...but for now ..just enjoy the pictures!

This is upstairs room #2:
The stairs and the hallway upstairs:
Todd thought we might be able to cut in a bathroom upstairs and when we started demo on the upstairs hallway we were excited to find that there is DEFINITELY enough space for a bathroom up there so... here is the upstairs bathroom to be :)
Wow! You guys have a lot of work ahead of you. :) I'm trying to convince Jason to tile my bathroom. What do you think will get done first? Your house? or my bathroom? You guys are an inspiration. I'm excited to follow your adventure/renovation. It looks like it has a lot of potential! Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteYeah it is A LOT of work haha but I just keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end :) You should challenge Jason to finish the bathroom before we finish our house :) haha
