Saturday-Day Four!

Well we pretty much are done with all of the demolition, all except for a little bit on the stairway to the basement and the basement ceiling, the plan is to finish that tomorrow. So you can see we've come quite a ways! Luckily my parents and Todd's parents and our friend John came over to help so it went a lot quicker than the rest of the week has gone with only me and Todd and sometimes our other friend Jon or my parents working on it :) So just think of the 12 hours I spent on saturday doing demo and cleaning up the debris .. and .. enjoy the pictures!

Also, in case any one is interested I put our plans for each room on the Finally! post, I'm sure I left some things out but that will at least give you an idea! :)

Here is a picture of the stairs and the hallway upstairs, as you can see there is no more lathe and plaster!

These next pictures are of the upstairs room the first one is the closet and the other is of the front part of the room. Once again, lathe and plaster... GONE!!!

These next pictures are of the front rooms, all lathe and plaster is gone and there was a very nice thick wood behind all of the layers or paint, wall paper, and lathe and plaster. And behind this wood there is a gap... and then the exterior wall... as we had figured .. NO insulation.. thank goodness we are going to do something about that!
